1) What is the purpose of a neuropsychological assessment?

A neuropsychological assessment is used to determine if a medically or biologically based problems contributing to a child's thinking, learning, or behavior.

2) What does an assessment involve?

Typically, one full day for consultation and testing and one session interpretation and discussion of results with parents or other caretakers.

3) What is the cost of an assessment?

Assessments currently range from $900-$4000 depending on the time and/or amount of testing required.

4) Do I need prior authorization for these services?

No, however, our office will call your insurance prior to the first appointment to determine coverage, and then we will inform you of your cost. A 'letter of intent to pay' is required to authorize payment from a school system. Self payment is an option.

5) What do I need to do to schedule appointment?

1- Call the office, we will need basic information about your child and insurance information.
2- Download and complete the 'Pediatric Questionnaire' and 'Service Agreement' and fax or mail to the office.
